What is W.A.R. Zone?
A Brief Explanation of W.A.R. Zone
W.A.R. Zone is a software that allows you to control the competition experience from your cell phone. It is a new way of running competitions that will provide a better experience in many ways.
Rating System
We have designed a Weight Adjustive Rating system (W.A.R.) which will keep accurate ratings of all wrestlers. This will allow us to form matchups better than ever before. W.A.R. Zone will completely eliminate mismatches and sand-bagging because the ratings are objective; even novice wrestlers can safely compete.
Superior Match Making Software
Knowing the exact skill level of each wrestler allows us to create match-ups in a way that has never before been possible: one at a time, on the fly.
Open the W.A.R. Zone App, click “find a match”, and the software instantly pairs you based on age, weight, and skill (W.A.R.). It then immediately dispatches you to a mat.
You will either be matched against someone slightly heavier and slightly less skilled; slightly lighter and slightly more skilled; or an exact match of weight and skill. What you give up in weight, you will make up for in skill, or vice-versa. We have calibrated our software so that you will always end up in a “good match” within a safe margin of weight/age.
Send Challenges, Request Rematches
You will be able to send challenges directly to other competitors, who can accept or decline. You can search by name, team, or W.A.R. You can request a rematch. You can “follow” wrestlers/teams to keep track of who is up when/where.
Spend Less Time at Tournaments
No one wants to spend all day at a wrestling tournament. Our events are designed to get you in and out fast. You can stay as long as you like and wrestle as much as you like. You can come and go as you please; compete when you want to.
No More Weight Cutting
Our match making software takes weight, skill, and age into consideration to create matchups; cutting weight will not give you an advantage because there are no weight classes. Don’t worry about your weight, you will get competitive matches regardless.
Makes the Competition Experience MORE FUN!
This is only the surface of what is possible with the weight adjustive rating system. We plan on having multiple wrestling styles, jujitsu, arena style competitions, mini tournaments, rapid fire tournaments, and a lot of other fun ideas.
