Helping local wrestling programs to grow, a top down approach.
The WAR Zone Wrestling League will help local wrestling programs to grow via a wide scale marketing campaign promoting the sport of wrestling to newcomers, and by hosting weekly competition that are friendly to newcomers and parents. The WAR Zone software is efficient (you can learn about it here: /upcoming-w-r-zone-competitions/), it will cause growth in wrestling participation by doing these 4 things:
- Reducing the total time spent at tournaments to less than 2 hours. You begin competing immediately after YOU weigh-in. There is no waiting.
- Using intelligent software to pair beginners by skill, age, and weight; eliminating mismatches.
- Spending money on wide scale marketing campaigns focused on attracting newcomers to wrestling.
- Placing new wrestlers with local wrestling programs, and helping local programs become more organized.

WAR zone competitions are a great place to get your first experience wrestling. Newcomers start with a free introductory seminar where they can learn the rules and the basic strategies, they are then weighed-in and can immediately begin competing in matches against other beginners, right away! Kids who enjoy wrestling and wish to continue will be referred to local programs so they can begin training. We would love for the local programs to help out during our introductory seminars!
We will be a year round league, and will help clubs to establish year round programs. We refer new wrestlers, recommend software to handle automatic monthly billing, and even help you establish a referral/incentive program (free software we have designed). All we want from clubs is their support in helping us grow wrestling participation.
By taking a top down marketing approach, focusing on beginners, and running competitions with the WAR Zone software, we can grow participation in the sport of wrestling.
