Location: The Sports Arena, 620 Middle Country Road, St James, NY 11780

Format: This event will use the WAR Zone Matchmaking technology and run on 8 full mats.

Registration: The tournament will be limited to the first 400 wrestlers to register.

Cost: Registering for this event costs 3 tokens ($30)

Awards (wrestle as many matches as you like):

4 matches completed – Bronze Medal

5 matches completed – Silver Medal

6 matches completed – Gold medal

Weigh-ins: All wrestlers will be weighed-in when one half hour before their start time. Start times will be posted here and emailed me to you at 6:30pm the night before the event. The first start time will be 9am.

Rules: NYS High School Scholastic Rules, Three one minute periods, Modified overtime, 30 seconds and 30 second ride out. Headgear, wrestling shoes and singlet are recommended. Mouthpieces are mandatory for kids with braces (we will have them for sale for $5).

Officials: Certified and experienced

Divisions: This event will use the WAR Zone pairing software to form tailor-made matchups for each wrestler. The software will choose the best matchup for each wrestler based on age, weight, and skill. If this is your child’s first WAR Zone event, please notify one of our staff when you arrive, so we can help you get properly rated. Ages 4 and up.

Admission: $5 children under 5 are free. Parental supervision is required at all times.

Concessions: Food will be available throughout the day.
